Opensourcelicenties en vermeldingen

Plume zet HEIC- en HEIF-foto’s om met heic-to versie 1.5.2, vrije software die is uitgebracht onder de GNU Lesser General Public License, versie 3. Plume gebruikt de bibliotheek ongewijzigd en laadt haar als een apart bestand, zodat u er een andere build van kunt inzetten en de hulpmiddelen gewoon blijven werken.

Waar u de broncode en de licenties vindt:

• De GNU Lesser General Public License, versie 3, precies zoals heic-to die meelevert
• De GNU General Public License, versie 3, waarop de Lesser-licentie voortbouwt
• De broncode van heic-to op GitHub
• Precies het uitgebrachte pakket dat Plume installeert, versie 1.5.2

In heic-to zitten nog twee bibliotheken, elk door het eigen project uitgebracht onder de GNU Lesser General Public License:

• libheif 1.22.2 · LGPL
• libde265 1.0.16 · LGPL

Alle pakketten van derden die Plume installeert, gegroepeerd per licentie, met de copyrightregel uit het licentiebestand van het pakket zelf en de versie waarmee de site wordt gebouwd. Ook de vier die alleen op onze server draaien, voor de streepjescodegenerator en de voorbeeldafbeeldingen voor sociale media, staan hier.

Dit zijn engines en modellen van derden die vanaf het eigen domein van Plume worden geserveerd, niet vanaf een pakketregister of het netwerk van iemand anders. Daarom haalt een hulpmiddel hier niets van elders op. Meerdere dragen een licentie die het npm-pakket eromheen nergens noemt, dus staat elke engine hier onder zijn eigen licentie en niet onder die van de verpakking.

Elk lettertype dat de site serveert, met de copyrightregel gelezen uit het lettertypebestand zelf en waar het voor dient: ingesloten in de PDF’s die de hulpmiddelen schrijven, gezet op deze pagina’s, of alleen geopend door de server die de voorbeeldafbeeldingen voor sociale media tekent. Alle worden vanaf het eigen domein van Plume geserveerd, dus een pagina hier lezen roept nooit een lettertypedienst aan.
