Plume
OCR built in

Scanned PDF to Word.

plume · local · convert/scanned-pdf-to-word · works offline

On-device OCR reads each scanned page, straightens and cleans it first, then rebuilds the words as real typed paragraphs in a .docx you can actually edit, not a picture pasted into Word. Photos of a document work too (JPG, PNG, HEIC), or snap one with your camera. It reads seven printed Latin-script languages; handwriting usually won't come through.
