Questions, answered
How do I split a PDF into separate pages?+
Open your PDF, select the pages you want (click the thumbnails or type a range like 1-3, 5), switch the output to “Separate pages (zip)”, and click Split. Each page downloads as its own PDF inside a single zip.
Is it safe to split a PDF online?+
Yes. Plume splits your PDF entirely inside your browser — the file is never uploaded and nothing is sent to a server. You can even split with your wifi switched off, which makes it well suited to contracts, IDs and other sensitive documents.
How do I extract or save just one page of a PDF?+
Click that single page (or type its number in the range box), keep the output on “One combined PDF”, and click Split — you’ll get a one-page PDF of exactly that page.
Does splitting reduce the quality?+
No — pages are copied exactly as they are, with the same text, images and fonts, so quality is identical to your original. One honest note: bookmarks, internal links and form fields aren’t carried over when pages are extracted (this is a limitation of every PDF splitter, not just Plume).
Is there a page or file-size limit?+
There’s no hard limit. Because everything runs on your device, very large PDFs depend on your device’s memory, but typical documents split in seconds.
